Bree Williams is a Lecturer, La Trobe Law School and Higher Degree Researcher, Monash. Prior to that she worked at Melbourne Law School in the Acadeic Skills Centre, teaching writing skills. Bree was Maurice Blackburn’s Knowledge Support Lawyer for 5 years prior to that. She provided training and resources for the firm nationally on legal research and clear writing.
Bree’s professional experience began with private legal practice in Victoria and Queensland from 2003. In her varied legal career she has pursued greater awareness of clear writing as Professional Support Lawyer at Victoria Legal Aid and Product Developer/ Senior Legal Editor of Australian Encyclopedia of Forms and Precedents, amongst other roles.
Bree holds a Masters of Global Communication, Bachelor of Laws, Grad Dip Legal Practice and training qualifications.
